How can we ensure the precision of aluminum profiles

Industrial aluminum profiles have a wide range of applications in industry, so there are many different connection methods suitable for industrial aluminum profiles across various industries. Generally, industrial aluminum profiles are connected with the assistance of industrial aluminum profile accessories. Let's take a closer look at the specific connection methods.

1,. Bolts, nuts, or elastic fasteners are used for connections, with half-round head bolts commonly used for right-angle connections. This type of right-angle connection for aluminum profiles is considered built-in, as it is not visible from the outside. The advantage is that it is easy to position during installation. This connection method is economical and practical, offering high cost-effectiveness.

  2. Corner slot connectors are used for right-angle connections between two profiles. During installation, insert both ends into the profile slot pits, tighten the set screws, and select different corner slot connectors according to the slot width and connection method of the profiles.

  3. Built-in connector connection is generally used for cross connections of industrial aluminum profiles. For built-in connector connections, it is only necessary to expand the hole on one of the profiles, making it suitable for use on installed frames or machines. Additionally, an additional profile can be added at any position, making it a highly adjustable right-angle connection method.

  4. Corner connector connection: Corner connector connection is generally used to enhance the support force at the connection points of profiles, providing support and fixation for profile-to-profile connection points that are subjected to strong forces or vibrations.

Aluminum profile frames are typically assembled using assembly-line aluminum profiles and accessories, commonly including corner pieces and bolt nuts. The frames installed in this way are both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, and are also convenient for disassembly and transportation. However, some industries have very high precision requirements for aluminum profile frames, and ordinary bolt and nut connections simply cannot meet these standards, as the tightness of the screws can affect their precision. So, what other methods are there to improve the precision of aluminum profile frames? Actually, there are two approaches:

  1. Cutting aluminum profiles at a bevel angle: Cut both ends of the aluminum profile at a 45-degree bevel angle, and then press them together using the matching corner connectors. This can greatly improve the precision of the product, but there is a drawback: once assembled, it becomes difficult to disassemble.

  2. If high load-bearing capacity is required, scaffolding-type aluminum profiles can be chosen. Each connection point of these aluminum profiles' design structural components is equipped with a structural component retaining clip, making them very sturdy and secure, and absolutely free from loosening. However, their price is relatively high, so it is advisable to consider them only if the budget allows.
